50 Awesome Things To Do In Wollongong

Ten years ago, I moved from a small town on the Far South Coast of New South Wales to the ‘big smoke’ – a large town called Wollongong. Located about an hour and a half south of Sydney and considered the third-largest city in Australia, Wollongong could hardly be considered the ‘big smoke’, but to a small-town girl, it definitely was. I mean, there are traffic lights and everything up here!

In the decade that has passed since I moved to Wollongong, I’ve felt more and more at home in this beautiful place. As much as I love travelling and exploring the world, there is nothing better than coming home.

That being said, I thought I’d introduce you to my hometown… so, here are 50 awesome things to do in and around Wollongong, should you ever find yourself here!
